Serpentine drills are designed to test speed and cognitive agility.
The athlete passes through the gates in order. As each gate is broken, the following gate in the sequence will display a randomised colour signal (red, green, blue, or all / white).
Before passing through that gate, the athlete must complete a predetermined action based on the colour presented on the LED display. These actions are decided prior to beginning the drill.
Suitable for SmartSpeed Pro and SmartSpeed Plus.

Click Ready to begin your session. You will see the name of your first athlete appear both in the SmartSpeed Plus app, as well as on the LED display of the first timing gate.
After breaking the beam of the first gate, their time will begin and the next timing gate will display one of your designated signal colours (this will be randomised for each trial).
Once the trial has begun, each gate other than the next gate in sequence will be disarmed until the trial has been completed.
Live results in the SmartSpeed Plus app will show the split times (S), signal colours (Sig), and cumulative time (C) for each trial.
