Charging your ForceFrame

This article contains guidance around charging your ForceFrame Max or Fold device and relevant battery information.

Charging procedure

The ForceFrame battery is charged using the supplied USB cable – either USB-C or mini USB.

1. Plug the small end of the USB cable into the bottom of the ForceFrame head unit
2. Plug the larger end of the USB-C cable into either the USB port of your computer, or a USB wall adapter plugged into a wall socket.
3. Turn the ForceFrame on to confirm the battery is charging.

Battery specifications

Important notes:

• Do not attempt to charge your device if the cable or wall adapter are damaged.
• While other brands of wall adapter may successfully charge your device, we recommend only using the equipment supplied by VALD where possible.
• Your ForceFrame will turn off automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity.
• When not in use, the ForceFrame battery will slowly discharge over time. We recommend connecting the device to a power source for at least one full day every month.

Alternatively, if you have successfully turned on and connected to your ForceFrame in-app, tap the Bluetooth icon to view connected device information including the level of charge.
