This article contains guidance around charging your ForceFrame Max or Fold device and relevant battery information.
Charging procedure
The ForceFrame battery is charged using the supplied USB cable – either USB-C or mini USB.
- Plug the small end of the USB cable into the bottom of the ForceFrame head unit
- Plug the larger end of the USB-C cable into either the USB port of your computer, or a USB wall adapter plugged into a wall socket.
- Turn the ForceFrame on to confirm the battery is charging.

Important notes:
- Do not attempt to charge your device if the cable or wall adapter are damaged.
- While other brands of wall adapter may successfully charge your device, we recommend only using the equipment supplied by VALD where possible.
- Your ForceFrame will turn off automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity.
- When not in use, the ForceFrame battery will slowly discharge over time. We recommend connecting the device to a power source for at least one full day every month.

Alternatively, if you have successfully turned on and connected to your ForceFrame in-app, tap the Bluetooth icon to view connected device information including the level of charge.
