ForceFrame’s force sensors have a maximum load under which they can accurately measure forces during a test.
ForceFrame’s force capacity
Each ForceFrame has four paddles or force sensors: two inner paddles and two outer paddles.
All inner paddles have a force capacity of 1000 N (i.e., 100 kg or 220 lb).
Outer paddles have different force capacities depending on the specific ForceFrame being used. Outer paddles have force capacities of either 1000 N (i.e., 100 kg or 220 lb) or 2500 N (i.e., 250 kg or 560 lb).
What to do if the maximum capacity is exceeded
Force measurement accuracy can reduce for force measurements that exceed the rated capacity. ForceFrame iOS will display a message alerting you if force capacity was exceeded.
If the force capacity is exceeded during a test, complete the test as you normally would and click Finish. Then deselect any reps where the force capacity was exceeded. ForceFrame will then recalculate all metrics for that test using only the reps where the force capacity was not exceeded.
