Integrating PracSuite with VALD Hub will allow you to directly access a VALD profile from within your PracSuite practice management system. Once the integration has been set up, patient profiles in PracSuite can be manually synced with your VALD Hub account.

How the integration works
When creating and editing patient profiles in PracSuite, the details can be synced across to VALD Hub. This integration includes a one-way sync (PracSuite → VALD Hub) of patient data. Once this has been set up, it is recommended to only create and update patient details in PracSuite to avoid data being overwritten.

Set up the integration
- Log into your VALD Hub account and navigate to Management > Organisation.
- Highlight and copy your Organisation ID to include in an email to VALD support.
- Email support@vald.com (copying in helpdesk@smartsoft.com.au) requesting that your support team allow PracSuite access to your VALD Hub data. This email should include:
- your organisation name, and
- your VALD Organisation ID.
Once you receive confirmation from VALD and PracSuite Support that the integration is successful, you can then enable this in your PracSuite account.
To use this integration, your PracSuite user account must be marked as a practitioner.
- In your PracSuite software, navigate to Settings > Integrations > VALD and click the toggle to Enable VALD Integration.
- Enter your VALD Organisation ID against the relevant PracSuite Businesses.
If the integration was successful, you will now see aicon at the top of the patient's Clinical Notes timeline in your PracSuite software.
Click on the VALD icon to open the patient's profile in VALD Hub.
If the patient already exists in VALD Hub, clicking the VALD icon in PracSuite will open their existing profile in VALD Hub. If the patient does not already exist in VALD Hub, clicking the VALD icon will create a new profile in VALD Hub.
Sync patients into a specific Category / Group
As a practitioner, you are able to sync PracSuite profiles directly into a VALD Hub Category and Group which you have access to.
- In VALD Hub, navigate to Management > Groups.
- Click on a Group that is available to you from the list.
- Locate and copy the Group ID.
Look for the string of letters and numbers following groups/... at the end of the URL in your address bar.
- Log in to PracSuite and navigate to Settings > Integrations > VALD.
- Click Edit and paste in the VALD Group ID that you copied. The field is found next to your VALD Organisation ID.
- Click Save.
The next time you sync a PracSuite profile with VALD, it will be added straight into this Category and Group as dictated by the VALD Group ID.
