Locate your SmartSpeed serial number

When speaking with the VALD support team, we may ask you to confirm the serial number of your VALD system. This can be to troubleshoot issues specific to your device or to organise a replacement part with our warehouse team.

SmartSpeed Plus

You will find the serial number at the top of the SmartSpeed label on the LED display on each timing unit. The serial number will be in the following format, with the last four digits being unique to your device. 

SmartSpeed Dash

You will find the serial number on the sticker on the underside of each timing unit. The serial number is located underneath the barcode and will be in the following format, with as many as six digits at the end being unique to your device.
