The ForceDecks wireless adapter is a peripheral accessory which allows V1 force plates to connect to a device using Bluetooth. Previous ForceDecks models – FDLite V1 and FD4000 – do not have in-built Bluetooth connectivity and, without the adapter, can only be used via USB connection to a laptop.
About the wireless adapter
The wireless adapter connects to the existing ForceDecks power and USB cables. It contains an internal battery which can be charged to provide a more mobile experience using your ForceDecks V1 plates.

Connecting the adapter
- Set up your V1 ForceDecks and plug in the required cables to your plates.
-
Connect the other ends of the primary (3-pin) power cable and the USB cable to the adapter. Both of these cables must be plugged in for the adapter to function.
-
Press and briefly hold the black power button on the top face of the adapter. Two LEDs will turn on: the battery indicator showing the adapter's charge level, and the power LED which will flash white for a period of time.
Note that the adapter may take up to 30 seconds to fully turn on and for the power light to stop flashing.
- Open your ForceDecks application for iOS or Windows and log in.
- Allow the app to search for devices and then connect to your plates normally.
Charging the adapter
The most efficient way to charge your adapter is using the enclosed USB-C cable to plug it directly into a wall socket. The adapter can be used while simultaneously connected to a power source and your ForceDecks. The battery will charge this way, but it will be slower to reach 100%.
The middle LED indicator will display the battery level of the wireless adapter. Additionally, if you use ForceDecks iOS, you can see the charge level of the adapter on the device connection screen.
A full charge provides approximately 4.5 hours of continuous use.
Troubleshooting
- The adapter does not need to be connected to a power source if it is fully charged.
- The adapter will not begin pairing unless the 3-pin plug and the USB cable are connected.
- If your device won't pair or repeatedly loses connection, you may need to reboot the adapter. Turn it off and on again following the instructions outlined above.
- If your adapter fails to charge, try an alternative charging cable and/or wall charger. You may also connect it to a computer or laptop instead of a wall power source.
- Still experiencing issues with your wireless adapter? As a last ditch solution, you can perform a hard reset.
- Insert a paper clip or SIM card ejector tool into the small hole to the right of the power button and hold until the adapter resets.
