There may be occasions where you will need to change the ID number of your SmartSpeed Pro timing unit. For example, when you are running multiple tracks, or you have acquired additional timing units.
Update the firmware
Make certain your SmartHub is on the latest firmware, to update follow the steps outlined here:
You will need a data-rated USB cable, and it should only take a few minutes.
Update the ID of a gate
Use this method if one gate is not detectable (could be on the same channel/ID as another gate)
- Power on your SmartHub and one gate
- Connect to the SmartHub in the app
- Tap the Bluetooth icon in the upper right-hand corner
- Take note of the ID number below the gates in channel. If a gate has a duplicate ID, tap the 3 dots in the upper corner of the tile and select Edit ID
- Set the gate to a new, unique ID and tap save
