While running drills in SmartSpeed Plus, you have the option to tag trials as either Valid or Invalid. This allows for better quality control and error identification, ensuring your data is accurate.
In your drill setup, enable the Trial validity toggle (at the bottom of the setup page) and set a relevant Duration (increases in 5 second increments).
Once you begin your drill, you will receive the following window after each trial is completed where you can mark a trial as either Valid or Invalid.

You can check whether a trial was Valid or Invalid by clicking on Live results.
All invalid trials will be automatically displayed at the bottom of the list and have a red flag icon next to the trial number.
You can also scroll across to the Tag column.
Viewing and deleting invalid trials from VALD Hub
Invalid trials will still be uploaded with the rest of your trials to VALD Hub.
You can navigate to Dashboard > Results Export > SmartSpeed and set up the test type and date parameters to locate your trials. Invalid trials will display the same flag icon as the SmartSpeed Plus app.
Delete invalid trials
- Select the trial by clicking on the profile initials on the left.
- Click the Delete test option in the top-right.
- Confirm your deletion.
