This release includes exciting security improvements that impact the entire VALD suite, including VALD Hub and all VALD system apps.

• You will now see a new login screen for all VALD apps (including VALD Hub), prompting you to log in with our new authentication service.
• The Management > Users view in VALD Hub has now been renamed to 'User Access' to better reflect the functionality in this screen.
• Each user's email address will now be visible in the main User Access view, with any superfluous columns now removed to provide you with all the necessary information at a glance.
• When you assign Exercise Programs, Questionnaires, and Outcome Measure surveys to your patients, they will now see consistent TeleHab branding when logging into the TeleHab web app (app.telehab.io).

Security updates

New Identify Management Provider deployed

• We have rolled out a new identify provider (IdP) that will help position us for future improvements such as Enterprise SSO (Single Sign–On), Social Logins, and Biometrics for shared devices.

Suspicious IP throttling

• We have increased protection against high-velocity attacks that target multiple user accounts from a single IP address.

Brute-force protection

• We have introduced safeguards against brute-force attacks that target a single user account.
• This limits login attempts separately for each source IP address to limit the potential for attackers to lock legitimate users out of their accounts.

Breached password detection

• We have introduced functionality that will detect if your username / password that you use for accessing VALD is included in a major security breach and automatically lock your compromised account.

Resolved issues

• If you have previously created a Profile using the same email address as the one you use to log into VALD Hub, updating this profile name will no longer update your User name.

New and enhanced features

• You can now assign over 70 new exercises that we've added to Program Builder. These new exercises includes commonly requested movements such as:
  • Knee extension in sitting (cable machine)
  • Hamstring curl in prone (cable machine)
  • Turkish get-up

• The "Gender" field has been updated to "Sex" when creating profiles or viewing profile details. This change more accurately reflects the intention of depicting biological sex in this field and will soon be implemented across all VALD systems.
• The "Quick Actions" orange plus + button has been removed from the top banner of VALD Hub. The ability to create new users, profiles and exercise programs will still be available by using the side navigation menu.
• VALD Hub is getting easier to navigate on smaller devices with the following improvements:
  • The top navigation menu in Profiles can now be scrolled on smaller screens.
  • The font size of header text now adjusts automatically based on your screen size.
  • On smaller screens, the profile's age has been removed from the header.
  • The Profile header no longer includes the last testing date.
• The "Edit Details" and "More details ..." options in the Profile header have now been moved to the Actions drop-down, moving all important profile information in the one place.
• The "Assign to entire organisation" checkbox has been removed from Management > Settings to simplify user onboarding.
• Enhancements have been made to the Profile Overview page, including the following changes:
  • When printing the Profile Overview page, a header and footer will now be displayed even if there is no data associated with the profile.
  • Test tiles no longer contain icons when printing the Profile Overview page. This creates more space for content and provides only relevant information to the individual.
  • The units on test tiles have been slightly adjusted for a more consistent visual presentation.
  • The text in the Exercise Program tile, PROM tile, and Max Pain tile has been updated to improve understanding.
  • The SmartSpeed tile icon has been resized to align with the rest of the VALD technology icons.
  • The SmartJump tile now features a grey background, to align with the rest of the VALD technology icons.

• Chronological Order Issue: Fixed the issue where multiple tests were not displayed chronologically within the chart drill-down area.
• Allow Photo and Recording Indicator Issue: Resolved the issue where the status indicator for allowing photos and recordings were not showing correctly in some locations.

• Freezing Issue for Under 13 Profiles in Nookal: Addressed the issue where profiles under 13 in Nookal would freeze when attempting to sync clinic notes.

• Profile Overview ForceDecks tiles now support the average calculation type, enabling users to customize the information they want to see. This feature will provide more flexibility in analyzing and interpreting ForceDecks data.
• VALD Systems and Results Table's systems drop-down now persists selection when navigating profiles, allowing users to quickly access relevant information without losing context. This improvement is designed to streamline the workflow and save time.
• VALD Systems and Results Table column headings are now displayed in the correct case to ensure correct units of measure are displayed, such as m/s instead of M/S. This change will improve the interpretation of the displayed data.
• Profile Overview Exercise Program tiles now appear as soon as the program is assigned to a profile, providing clarity about the active exercise program for the associated profile.

VALD Hub Modes assist our different users to get the most out of VALD Hub:

• Clinical Management – designed for organisations to manage individual profiles.
• Group Management – designed for organisations to manage groups of profiles.

VALD Hub Administrators can set the preferred mode for their organisation by going to  Management > Settings in VALD Hub.
