Upgrade to the SmartSpeed Plus app

We've upgraded your SmartSpeed experience in the new and improved SmartSpeed Plus app, which now supports backwards compatibility with our SmartSpeed Dash and SmartSpeed Pro timing gate models.

As part of this transition, we have discontinued the SmartSpeed app as of 15 March 2025.

Please follow the below steps before 15 March 2025 to continue using your timing gates.

1. Download the SmartSpeed Plus app

The SmartSpeed Plus app can be downloaded through the App Store.

The SmartSpeed Plus app is available on iOS devices only.

2. Upgrade the firmware of your timing gates

Before you can connect to your timing gates in the SmartSpeed Plus app, you must firstly update the firmware of your timing units. This will ensure that you can connect to your gates in the new SmartSpeed Plus app.

3. Connect to your gates in SmartSpeed Plus

Now that you have updated the firmware of your timing gates (SmartSpeed Dash) or SmartHub (SmartSpeed Pro), you are ready to connect to your gates using the new SmartSpeed Plus app.
