Once you have completed your drill in the SmartSpeed Plus app, you can edit the details in VALD Hub if necessary.
Locate the test record
You will need to firstly locate the test record in VALD Hub that you wish to change.
You can navigate to:
- Dashboard > Results Export > SmartSpeed, or
- Profiles > select your profile > Result Table and choose SmartSpeed from the System drop-down.
Use the Test Type and Date filters to narrow down your search and locate the test.
Change the profile
- Select the test record in the list by clicking on the profile's initials on the left.
- Click the
button above the results.
- With the "Change Profile" option selected, press Continue.
- Click into the "New Profile" drop-down and select the profile you wish to reassign this test to.
- Click Reassign Test to Profile to save your selection.
If the same athlete has performed multiple tests under the wrong name, repeat this process for each test.
Change the drill type
The drill type can only be changed for sprint test types.
- Select the test record in the list by clicking on the profile's initials on the left.
- Click the
button above the results.
- Update the selection to "Change Drill Type" then press Continue.
- Click into the "New Drill Type" drop-down and select the correct drill type for this test.

Enter in the Split Distances for each gate.
If you only had two gates connected, the split distance will be equal to the total distance.
- Click Update X Test(s) in Session to save your selection.
Delete the test
Deleting a test is irreversible. You should only do so if the data collected was invalid, you are instructed by VALD Support, or you have another justifiable reason for doing so.
- Select the test record in the list by clicking on the profile's initials on the left.
- Click the Delete test button above the results.
- In the confirmation prompt that appears, click Delete once more.
