You have the ability to edit a test's information in VALD Hub after it has been uploaded. This is useful if you have recorded a test or rep(s) with the incorrect profile, test type or other parameters.
The specific details you can affect on your test will depend on the system, as outlined below.
| DM | FF | FD | NB | SS | HT | |
| Change test type | ||||||
| Re-assign profile | ||||||
| Edit laterality | N/A | N/A | ||||
| Edit test position | N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A | ||
| Delete rep(s) | ||||||
| Delete test |
* Within certain parameters i.e. only compatible test types may be changed.
Select the test
You can locate the relevant test result through two different views – Results Export and Result Table.
Results Export
VALD Systems > Results Export
- Navigate to the VALD Systems view from the side navigation menu.
- Select the relevant system from the tabs at the top. If necessary, set the appropriate test type or date to help narrow down your search.
- Locate the test to be edited and select it by clicking on the circle containing the individual's initials.
- An
Edit Test button will appear on the right side of the page. Click it to proceed, or expand the menu and select your desired option.
Result Table
Profile > Result Table
- Navigate to the Profiles view from the side navigation menu.
- Locate and click on the profile in the list.
- Go to the Result Table tab.
- Select your system from the dropdown, and filter the results further by test type or date if required.
- Select the test to be edited by clicking on the circle containing the individual's initials.
- An
Edit Test button will appear on the right side of the page. Click it to proceed, or expand the menu and select your desired option.
The Edit Test option will not be visible if you have no test results selected in the table, or have more than one test selected.
Edit or re-assign the test
As described above, the actions available to you when clicking Edit Test depend on which VALD system captured the test data.
You may see options such as: Re-assign profile, Change test type, Edit reps and Delete test.
Important notes:
- For ForceDecks, changing the test type is performed at the rep level by choosing Edit reps from the dropdown.
- For DynaMo and ForceFrame, editing the test position is performed at the whole-test level under the Change test type option. On the other hand, laterality is under the Edit reps option.
- For SmartSpeed, if you edit the drill type this will apply to all tests in the session, not just the selected test.
Make any desired changes and click to save.
If you've opted to delete rep(s) or an entire test, you will be asked to confirm the action before changes are applied.
Once you confirm the delete in VALD Hub, the data is erased permanently and cannot be recovered.
