Assembly instructions
Required tools:
|
Allen key/hex wrench (5 mm) Included in the box |
Screwdriver (#2) Not included |
- Identify the end of the upright post with four M6 socket head screws (A) pre-attached and remove these. Fit this end of the post into the center slot of the base unit.
- Carefully invert the base so the underside with the wheels is visible. Hold the upright post so it remains in place.
- Using the socket head screws (A) and the hex key, screw the base unit to the upright post.
Note: You may need to support the weight of the post so the screw holes stay straight and aligned during this process.
- Turn the unit upright again so the wheels are on the floor.
- Remove the four M6 countersunk Phillips screws (B) from their pre-attached holes in the upper end of the post.
- Position the top plate correctly on the upright post – it should slot easily into place.
- Using the countersunk Phillips screws (B) and the screwdriver, screw the top plate to the upright post.
Set up your HumanTrak system
The trolley includes a mount to which the HumanTrak camera can be affixed, already at an appropriate height for testing. It also includes a tray for housing your system's cables.
Note that the trolley configuration only supports the Orbbec Femto Bolt camera and not the older HumanTrak camera model, Azure Kinect.
- Slide the camera into the prongs of the camera mount and align the four screw holes on either side with the mount.
- Using the four M3 button head screws (C), attach the camera securely to the camera mount.
Make sure the connecting cable is plugged in to the back of the camera before attaching to the trolley mount. Once screwed in place, the reverse of the camera may not be easily accessible.
- Place your HumanTrak laptop on top of the trolley with the charger connected to the correct port on the laptop. It is recommended to also connect the camera to the laptop at this stage.
-
Attach the cable tray to the underside of the top plate – both components contain magnets that will secure the tray in place. The correct orientation is with the U-shaped cutout facing towards the camera mount, sliding the tray up and back until it fits around the post.
You can now tuck any loose cables neatly inside the tray.
Tip:
Push down on the wheel lever to lock it in place and prevent unintentional movement. Lift the lever to unlock the wheel again.
