You may need to manually calibrate your NordBord when you've replaced a part of the system, such as a load cell, or if otherwise instructed to by our support team. Follow these steps to re-calibrate your NordBord.
You will need:
- Your NordBord system
- Serial number (NBE-XXXX)
- Windows PC/laptop
- NordBord app for Windows
- USB to mini-USB cable (provided)
- Calibration value(s) provided via email by VALD support team
- e.g. X.XXXX

Step 1: Turn on your NordBord by pressing the power button. Connect the smaller end of the USB cable to the orange box underneath your NordBord. Connect the larger end of the cable to your laptop or PC. |

Step 2: Open the NordBord app for Windows on your device and log in. * If you are prompted to update the application on startup, install the update first before continuing. |
|

|
Step 3: Check that your NordBord is successfully connected via USB. You should see the correct serial number under the 'Device' section e.g. NBE-XXXX |
|
|
Step 4: Navigate to Settings > Device. Switch the 'Show Calibration' toggle ON |
|
Step 5: Enter the value supplied to you by VALD Support (X.XXXX) in the 'Left Sensor' or 'Right Sensor' box as applicable. |

Do not enter any values other than those provided in your email from VALD Support. |

| Step 6: Click Calibrate, and then press Confirm on the pop-up which appears. | |
|
Step 7: Repeats steps 5–6 if necessary for the other sensor. |
|
Make sure to ONLY calibrate sensor(s) as instructed to by VALD Support. Altering the calibration of other sensors may cause inaccurate readings. |
