There are several reasons that you may need to edit tests conducted with ForceDecks Windows:
- Change the test type
- Manually mark trials (reps) not auto-detected
- Manually remove recorded trials (reps) to fix inaccurate results
- Change test properties (e.g. profile info/body weight, date, notes, groups and tags)
- Swap left and right limbs of the test recording
- Access new or updated metrics from a recent update
If you need to remove an entire test recorded in error, see Delete a test in ForceDecks Windows.
Option 1: Edit test recording
Use this method to change test type, update test properties or tags, or edit individual trials (reps).
- Go to Profiles.
- Select the profile for which you wish to edit tests.
- Click Load Tests for Selected.
- Select the test you want to edit.
To edit tags for the test:
- Click Edit Test Tags and make your changes on the pop-up.
- Click Set Tags.
To change test type or manually edit trials (reps):
- Click View Results for Selected.
- Once the test results load, click Edit Test Recording.
- Use the Test Type dropdown to change type for the whole test. Click on the grey label to change the type for a single trial (rep).
For editing, marking or deleting reps, see manually mark trials (reps), edit marked trials or remove trials (reps).
To change test properties:
- Click View Results for Selected.
- Once the test results load, click Test Properties.
- You can now change the profile, recording date, notes, categories, groups and tags.
Option 2: Reanalyse test
Use this method to rewrite metrics, swap limb side for the entire test, or update body weight (which requires a reanalysis).
- Go to Profiles.
- Select the profile(s) for which you wish to reanalyse tests (Shift + Click or Ctrl + Click to select multiple profiles).
- Click Load Tests for Selected.
- Select the test(s) you want to reanalyse (Shift + Click or Ctrl + Click to select multiple tests).
- Click Reanalyse Tests.
- In the Test Reanalysis pop-up, check boxes or fill additional fields as required:
- Change the individual's weight, or
- Swap left and right limbs.
- When ready, click Reanalyse.
Note: Any newly added variables are applied to stored trials, replacing the existing summary data displayed in result tables, graphs and exports. The original raw CSV file will remain unchanged, and the test is automatically flagged as 'Reanalysed'.
