Descriptions
Contact time (ms) - the time, measured in milliseconds, an athlete spends in contact with the mat between consecutive jumps.
Flight time (ms) - the time, measured in milliseconds, an athlete spends in the air during a jump.
Jump height (cm or in) - the height jumped by an athlete, measured in centimetres or inches.
Flight time / Contact time - the flight time divided by the contact time.
Reactive Strength Index (RSI) - the jump height divided by the contact time.
Peak Power Output (PPO) - the max output of the jump.
Peak Power Output / Total mass - the mat output divided by the total mass.
Leg Stiffness (LS) - a measure for the interaction of lower limb muscles and joints to produce a jump.
Impulse - the product of the athlete's force and time during the take-off phase of a jump, measured in Newton-seconds (Ns).
