Using SmartSpeed Plus offline

SmartSpeed Plus iOS app allows you to conduct testing in offline mode – without an internet connection. This can be useful if you are testing in an area with poor coverage, or if VALD's online systems are temporarily under maintenance.

Note: You cannot log in to the SmartSpeed Plus app without an internet connection. You must first log in while connected to the internet before attempting to conduct tests offline.

To record tests in offline mode, simply test as you normally would using your timing gates. All test results collected offline will remain in the Pending Uploads queue until you reestablish an internet connection.

When you open your SmartSpeed Plus app after reestablishing an internet connection, pending tests will automatically start uploading to VALD Hub. Alternatively, press the Sync button in the Uploads view to attempt to sync your data.

After a successful upload your test data will be available in VALD Hub.
