This guide will walk you through how to conduct a ForceFrame test using the ForceFrame iOS app for iPhone and iPad.
- Turn your ForceFrame on by pressing the power button on the head unit. The lights will indicate both that the device is on, and how much charge the device currently has.
- Open the ForceFrame app on your iPhone or iPad device and log in.
- Click START TESTING in the main menu. This will begin searching for your ForceFrame. Once it appears, select your ForceFrame device.
- Select a profile for the assessment. If you have a long list of profiles, use the search bar or groups filter to narrow down your results and select the right profile.
- Select a test type for the assessment.
Unsure how to perform a test type? Check out our ForceFrame Test Protocols for detailed instructions and videos.
- Select a test position (e.g. Supine, Standing, Seated, etc.).
- Set up your ForceFrame hardware to ensure the crossbar and outer paddles are in the correct position for the movement. Each test protocol provides a suggested paddle position and crossbar rotation.
- Configure profile test position. This is an optional step that can help standardise future tests for this profile.
- Click START.
- You will then see the results screen, with a live force trace at the top and blank test results below. As you perform repetitions of the test, the force trace will show the force produced for the movement, and the test results will be updated in real time.
- You can pause the test at any time by clicking PAUSE. To stop the test, click FINISH, then UPLOAD to send the test results to your VALD Hub.
