Using tags in ForceDecks iOS

Adding tags to your test setup can help you report on results with greater ease and efficiency. Tags allow you to narrow down results in VALD Hub and only view test results with a specific tag.

ForceDecks tags are organized into a two-level hierarchy:

• Tag Types are the higher level categories which may contain any number of tags.
• Tags are the individual values within the category.

You may wish to use tags to differentiate between custom test protocols, secondary tasks for balance tests, or between certain testing periods. Some example use cases are shown here.

Create and edit tags or tag types

1. Turn your ForceDecks on and log in to the ForceDecks iOS app.
2. On the home screen, tap Individual testing.

3. In the test setup navigation on the left, tap the Tags icon, then press Manage Tags.

The Manage Tags view displays all your existing tag types (or categories).

1. a. Search for a tag type,
2. b. Create a new tag type,
3. c. Select a tag type to view it in detail.

If you tap a tag type to open it, the subsequent tag type view shows a list of tags which belong to that tag type.

1. a. Edit (rename or delete) the tag type,
2. b. Search for a tag,
3. c. Create a new tag,
4. d. Edit (rename or delete) a tag.

View results by tag in VALD Hub

You can filter ForceDecks test results by tag in both the Results Export (for groups of profiles) or in the Result Table (for an individual profile).

When viewing a table of ForceDecks results in VALD Hub, look for the Filters button. You can then select one or more tags to narrow down your results.
