Test overview
The Sit to Stand to Sit test is a simple strength and functional movement assessment that evaluates an individual’s ability to raise and lower themselves into a chair.
This assessment is well suited for individuals who have difficulty with the more strenuous Squat Assessment.
This test can be performed with varying chair heights to increase or decrease the difficult. A lower chair height makes this assessment more difficult.
