The rack attachment supports secure fixed‑point tension and compression testing setups for a consistent strength testing experience with your DynaMo Plus or Max.
This article covers the steps required to install and use the attachment on a compatible squat rack.

Squat rack size requirements
Before you begin, ensure that your rack post and holes fit within the size specifications outlined below.
| Minimum post width x depth | 52 mm x 60 mm |
| Maximum post width x depth | 90 mm x 112 mm |
| Minimum post hole size | 16 mm |
Install the attachment
- Unscrew and remove the wing knob from the back of the attachment.
- Insert the threaded rod on the attachment in an appropriate hole on the post at your chosen height. The correct orientation is with the metal lip of the attachment aligned to either side of the post as pictured.
- Holding the attachment body in place, screw the wing knob on the back until it is secured to the post.
Adjust the attachment
The attachment can be adjusted in two ways using the black toggles a and b. These function as locks which can be extended and flipped to unlock or lock the rotation for different parts of the attachment.
|
a
The toggle on the protruding corner of the attachment. Adjusts the rotation of the entire attachment body in an increment of 90 degrees. |
|
|
b
The toggle on the top/side surface of the attachment. |
Using the attachment with DynaMo
As described above, the barrel of the squat rack attachment can be rotated into different positions for testing, or depending on which DynaMo model you have.
DynaMo Plus
Rotate the barrel so the two-pinned end faces outwards. Attach the inactive (grey) end of the DynaMo Plus device and twist to secure – the same as with any DynaMo Plus attachment.
DynaMo Max
Rotate the barrel so the hollow end faces outwards. Remove the detent pin, attached to a thin cable, from the attachment. Insert the DynaMo Max device and slot the pin in laterally (through the loop on the Max unit) to secure it in place.
With your DynaMo device secured in the rack attachment, you can begin strength testing. Check your test protocol for DynaMo Plus or Max and make any adjustments to the angle and orientation of the attachment as required.
