Starting position
This test requires a stationary period before the movement commences. Remain still to allow the HumanTrak system to calibrate, following on-screen prompts before commencing the test.
- Move so that the tracking circle is in the center of the positioning circle.
- Sit upright on a sturdy chair with a straight back, feet flat on the floor and shoulder-width apart. Cross arms over the chest.
- Remain in this seated position after calibration has completed.
Instructions
- Stand up fully and then return to the seated position in a controlled manner. Keep the chest upright and avoid using the hands or arms.
- Repeat this movement until five full repetitions are completed – after which the test automatically ends.
Repetitions
- Reps are automatically detected and displayed in the right side panel during a test.
- A rep is detected each time the individual completes a full stand and returns to a seated position.
- The goal is to complete five repetitions as quickly as possible, while maintaining safe and controlled movement.
- If a repetition is not detected, ensure full hip and knee extension during standing, and full contact with the chair when seated.
