Note: HumanTrak calculates jump height as the difference from standing to the apex of the jump. This method is different to force plates and will produce (on average) jump height values ~10 cm (3.9 inches) higher.
Starting position
- Move so that the tracking circle is in the center of the positioning circle.
- Face the camera, stand up straight with feet shoulder-width apart.
- Place hands on your hips.
This test requires a stationary period before the movement commences. Remain still to allow the HumanTrak system to calibrate, following on-screen prompts before commencing the test.
Instructions
- Perform a countermovement jump with the intent to produce as much power and jump into the air as high as possible, while landing safely.
Repetitions
- Reps are detected when the person lands and returns to the starting position.
- Repeat this test for the desired number of repetitions.
Repetition Detection
- Reps are automatically detected and displayed in the right side panel during a test.
- If a rep isn't detected, repeat the movement again ensuring proper protocol is followed.
