The Program Builder in VALD Hub includes an extensive library of exercises that can be collated into a custom program and assigned to a profile via their MoveHealth app.
Unsure which exercises are available? Check out our MoveHealth Exercise Library guide.
If you would generally assign the same program to multiple individuals with similar presenting pathologies, you can create program templates and speed up your workflows.
Create an exercise program
- In VALD Hub, navigate to the Program Builder in the left sidebar.
- Your program details will appear in the right-hand panel. Start by naming your program.
- Use the search and filter functions to locate a particular exercise for your program.
- To add an exercise to your program, either click the orange plus icon on the exercise card, or drag and drop the exercise card directly into the program panel.
- Alternatively, click anywhere on the exercise card to customize details such as number of sets, number of reps, rest duration, and more. Specific guidance can be added in the Notes box. Then, click Add to program.
- Repeat the previous steps until you have finished adding exercises to your program.

Create a superset
You can also add supersets to streamline your exercise program, grouping two or more exercises together according to the goals of the program.
- With at least one exercise added to your program panel, click Create new superset.
- Drag and drop exercises either from the library or your program itself to add them to the superset.
- Click on the superset to make bulk edits, or select exercises with the checkboxes and press Edit selected. You can then give a name to the superset, and configure the specific amount of sets, reps and rest required.
Assign an exercise program
- After creating your program in Program Builder, click Assign to profile.
- Choose a profile from the list.
- Select a Start date.
- Set the Program frequency: how often will they perform this exercise program?
- If desirable, specify timing of session completion: time or period of the day, or number of sessions per day.
- Set a fixed Program duration or make it Ongoing.
- Finalize additional settings in Program options:
- Enable or disable video recording for this program (affected by the profile's settings),
- Toggle pain and/or RPE reporting on or off for this program,
- Enable or disable notifications for this program (see below),
- Insert an optional message or extra notes.
- Hit Send to deliver the program to the client via their MoveHealth app.
Note: The Program options and Program frequency dictate how and when an individual is notified about their exercise program.
If the Notifications enabled slider is set to on
and the program does not have a fixed time, the individual will receive a notification at 10:00 AM in your local timezone. If the session time has been specified, a notification will be sent shortly before the set time.
