NOTE: Before updating your ForceDecks to the latest firmware, please ensure you have downloaded the latest ForceDecks software from VALD Hub and the ForceDecks are connected to your computer with a USB cable.
Automatic ForceDecks Firmware Update
We strongly recommend updating the firmware one plate at a time. To do so, follow the steps below:
- Have one plate connected to the PC via USB and ensure the plate is turned on.
- Ensure PC is plugged in and connected to the internet.
- Log in to ForceDecks.
- A green banner will appear if an update is needed.
- Click the banner, opening the ForceDecks Configuration menu.
- Click the more options [ ... ] next to the force plates you wish to update.
- Click Download and update latest firmware.
NOTE:Do not turn off or disconnect the force plate until the update has completed.
Manual ForceDecks Firmware Update (if you are offline or if there is no green banner)

- Remove any interconnecting cable and update each plate individually.
- Log in to ForceDecks for Windows.
- Click on Options.
- Select Settings.
- Select the Platform tab.
- Click on the ForceDecks button on the right-hand side of your window.
- You will see the plate connected as long as you have the 'Only use USB device connection' selected from the drop-down menu.
- Click the more options [ ... ] next to the force plates you wish to update.
- Click Download and update latest firmware.
- Repeat for the second plate in isolation.
NOTE: Do not turn off or disconnect the force plates until the update has completed.
Should you wish to manually override this, and install a Firmware file that has been downloaded to the PC (for example from VALD Hub | Download Apps | ForceDecks Firmware, or a Firmware file that VALD Support has provided you with), press Ctrl + Shift whilst selecting the 'Download and update latest Firmware' :
