This guide will walk you through how to conduct a test using your HumanTrak system.
Before you begin
- Assemble your HumanTrak system following the hardware setup article.
- Switch on the HumanTrak laptop, making sure it is connected to a power source.
- Log in to the HumanTrak application using your VALD credentials.
Set up your test
There are several ways to get started with a testing session in HumanTrak.
- From the Home screen, click on Start testing or Group testing under the Quick Links section. Alternatively, scroll down to find common tests and test batteries, and click the Start testing or Start battery button. Then, choose a profile from the list.
- From the Test Library or Test Batteries tab, find a specific test or battery of tests you want to complete and click the Start testing or Start battery button. Then, choose a profile from the list.
- From the Profiles view, find the profile of the individual you want to test and click the New session button next to it.
Following any of these will bring you to the test setup screen, where your camera feed will begin to load.
If you started by clicking through a specific test or test battery, the relevant test type(s) will already be added to your session, along with any calibration steps required.
Add more test types if desired by clicking on them in the Test Library menu on the left. You can reorder or remove
tests from the Session Tests menu on the right. Clicking the info icon
will bring up protocol instructions for the test type.
When you're ready, click Start Session at the bottom of the screen.
