How do I create multiple profiles with the same email address?

VALD Hub does not allow you to enter in exactly the same email address for more than one profile. This can prove an issue if you are wanting to prescribe TeleHab exercises, education topics, or Outcome Measure surveys for family members that share the same email.

There is, however, a workaround that you can do.

Some email providers (e.g. Gmail, Outlook) allow you to create aliases for an email address, meaning you can use the same email address for different profiles in VALD Hub.

Before the @ in the email address, simply insert a plus symbol + and any additional characters to create an email alias.

Example:

John and Jane Smith share the same email address – "jjsmith@gmail.com".

Create one profile with "jjsmith@gmail.com", and the other with "jjsmith+1@gmail.com".
