When recording tests using ForceDecks iOS, there may be some instances where you will want to change the test type of a recorded rep.
Potential reasons for changing a test type of a recorded rep may be:
- You have performed a test using "Auto Detect" that is not automatically detected, resulting in a default test type being assigned to the rep.
- A protocol different to the test type selected was performed by the individual.
- ForceDecks has analysed the force trace and labelled the rep with a different test type to what you expected.
When performing tests with ForceDecks, always ensure the proper protocol steps are being followed to allow for accurate rep detection and analysis.
Edit a test
Example scenario
You have selected and performed a Countermovement Jump (CMJ) and an Isometric Mid-Thigh Pull (IMTP). While the CMJ was auto-detected, the IMTP was not. The IMTP was detected as a standard Isometric Test and needs to be updated.
- After you have finished recording your testing, click Stop, then Finish.
- In the Post Testing Summary screen, select the Rep that you would like to change.
- Select "Change test type" from the options provided.
- Search for and select the new test type you would like to apply to this rep and click Done.
Data will be re-analysed for the new test type after you confirm your selection. If you then select Back in the top-left, you will see updated metrics applicable to the new test type you selected.
- Click Upload to save this data in VALD Hub.
