Enable trial validity in SmartSpeed Plus

While running drills in SmartSpeed Plus, you have the option to tag trials as either Valid or Invalid. This allows for better quality control and error identification, ensuring your data is accurate.

In your drill setup, enable the Trial validity toggle (at the bottom of the setup page) and set a relevant Duration (increases in 5 second increments).

Once you begin your drill, you will receive the following window after each trial is completed where you can mark a trial as either Valid or Invalid.

You can check whether a trial was Valid or Invalid by clicking on Live results.

All invalid trials will be automatically displayed at the bottom of the list and have a red flag icon next to the trial number. You can also scroll across to the Tag column.

NOTE: Invalid trials will still be uploaded to VALD Hub. You can see which trials are invalid by exporting the report from VALD Hub and viewing the CSV file.
