SmartSpeed

To use your SmartSpeed timing gates to run speed and agility drills with your athletes, you must firstly download the relevant data collection app on your smart device. The correct application to download will depend on the timing units you have purchased from the SmartSpeed product suite.

For SmartSpeed Plus timing gates you will need to download our new and improved SmartSpeed Plus application.

All SmartSpeed Dash and Pro timing gates can be connected through our original SmartSpeed app.¹

1. SmartSpeed Dash and SmartSpeed Pro units will be able to be used with the new SmartSpeed Plus application once we have reached backwards compatibility in a future release.

SmartSpeed Plus

The SmartSpeed Plus application is used to conduct speed and agility tests with your SmartSpeed Plus systems. The app then uploads session data to VALD Hub, where you can review results at any time.

The SmartSpeed Plus app is currently only available for iOS devices. The Android-compatible application will be available in the coming months.

Once the SmartSpeed Plus app has been downloaded onto your smart device, you can use your VALD Hub login details to use the app. If you do not have your login credentials, please contact your system administrator, or email us at support@vald.com.
